About Us
About 7 years ago Justin and Brent talked to me about starting to sell bulls out of the registered cows that my wife received from the Diamond Lazy J Ranch Partnership as a way to expand the Bull Sale offering. We started out with 16 registered cows from Diamond Lazy J and progressed to over 200 registered cows currently running at Barnes Angus. Most of the Registered cows trace back to one of the biggest named seedstock operations in the country, Stevenson Angus.

During the year, these bulls are not pampered and need to prove themselves. The bulls were summered in a 400 acre pasture and had nothing but grass and mineral this summer.
